Dietary supplement based on N-acetylcysteine, mucolytic expectorant on mucous secretions of the respiratory tract.

The formula is enriched with:

Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, vitamin C helps to stimulate the production and function of many types of white blood cells. It provides antioxidant protection to plasma lipids and is necessary for immune function (including leukocyte phagocytosis and chemotaxis), suppression of virus replication, and production of interferon. It has been suggested that a major role of vitamin C in immunity is protecting immune cells against oxidative stress generated during infections. Consumption of dietary vitamin C supplements is an efficient way to increase vitamin C levels in the body when food sources do not meet needs.

Thyme serpyllium has anthelmintic, antiseptic, disinfectant and expectorant action. Myrtle antiseptic, balsamic and disinfectant efficient against gram-positive bacteria. Grindelia with expectorant properties, soothes throat irritations. The plant is rich in saponins, useful substances to promote expectoration thanks to their excito-secretory action and fluidization of bronchial secretions. Their capacity of lowering the surface tension of mucus, make it more fluid and easy to eliminate. The last component is Drosera, with bronchospasmolytic and antitussive properties, it has an emollient and soothing action on the oropharyngeal mucosa as well as promoting the tone of voice.

N-acetylcysteine, coating agent: hydroxy-propyl-methylcellulose (capsule shell); Thyme serpyllum (Thymus serpyllum L.) aerial parts dry extract (D/E 4:1), Grindelia (Grin-delia robusta Nutt. ) flowering tops dry extract (D/E 4:1), Myrtle (Myrtus communis L.) leaves dry extract (D/E 4:1), L-Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), Drosera (Drosera rotundifolia L.) aerial parts dry extract (D/E 4:1), anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide.

Take 2 capsules daily with water.

Ottimo integratore. Prima di tutto apprezzo il fatto che non contenga stearato di magnesio, che infilano ormai dappertutto. Inoltre validissima l'aggiunta al NAC di erbe preziose per la difesa delle vie aeree. Costa un po' di più, ma ne vale la pena: lo riacquisto per me e per mio figlio.
