GASTROINTESTINAL APPARATUS AND NERVOUS SYSTEM - NEUREDEGENERATIVE DISEASES

Hericium is a white mushroom known as Yamabushitake. The name derives from the term Yamabushi which means "those who sleep on the mountains" and refers to the hermit monks of Shushendo, from which the mushroom takes the shape, very similar, of their traditional clothes.

In mycotherapy it is among the most effective remedies to prevent gastrointestinal disorders. It promotes the repairing of mucosae and has anti-inflammatory effects.

In the traditional Chinese medicine it has always been used for preventing gastrointestinal problems: from digestive difficulties to gastritis, from gastroesophageal reflux to ulcer.

It contains active agents, such as Erinacine and Ericenones, which act in a synergy on the gastrointestinal system and on the nervous system.

Also used to promote the regeneration and protection activity of the cerebral tissue.
